A little collection of textiles, ceramics and accessories by designer-maker, Robyn Jane  The Robyn Jane range is a lovely collection of unique, designer-made ceramics and textiles. Beautifully finished by the addition of embroidered felt, beads and ribbons, these pieces are fun, colourful and contemporary. Each is hand-decorated with images of animal figures and enhanced with colours and patterns inspired by those seen on vintage fabrics, plates, cups and teapots. The feel of this collection is bringing together items that can be found in dusty boxes in the attic and giving them a new life. The containers can be used in the kitchen or bedroom and are ideal for storing jewellery. Robyn, the designer and maker of the collection, graduated from Cumbria Institute of the Arts in 2007, with a degree in Contemporary Applied Arts. Originally working in felt and embroidery, Robyn has now developed her designs in ceramics and textiles, with the continuity of hand-drawn images, finished digitally. |
